These Terms & Conditions apply to all surf lessons, lesson packages, group bookings, surf trips, and
surfboard rentals provided by Jiwa Surf. By confirming a booking or participating in any session,
you agree to the terms below.
1. Bookings & Payments
All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability and surf conditions.
Individual bookings are confirmed once the session schedule has been sent by our team and the
guest confirms their spot.
Group bookings are confirmed once booking details are agreed upon in advance by all participants.
Payment is required after confirmation and must be completed as agreed with our team.
Prices are listed in IDR and may change without prior notice.
Lesson packages are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless stated otherwise in these Terms &
Conditions.
2. Cancellation Policy
Group Bookings
Cancellations made 4 days or more before the scheduled session are charged 50% of the rate per
person, per session.
Cancellations made 2 days or less before the scheduled session are charged 100% (full price).
Individual Surfers
A 50% cancellation fee applies once your spot is confirmed and until 9:00 PM (21:00) on the day
before your session.
A 100% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made after 9:00 PM (21:00) the day before, on the
same day, or for no-shows.
No refunds or partial refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, injuries,
personal reasons, poor surf conditions, or bad weather.
Unsafe or Unsurfable Conditions
If conditions are unsafe or unsurfable, sessions may be rescheduled or exceptions may be made at
our discretion.
3. Lesson Packages
Lesson packages are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.
Unused sessions after the validity period will expire.
Packages cannot be paused, extended, or refunded due to travel, illness, or personal circumstances
unless agreed in advance.
4. Surf Trips & Experiences
Surf trips are subject to availability, surf conditions, weather, and operational considerations.
Trip itineraries, locations, schedules, and inclusions may change for safety or logistical reasons.
Payments for surf trips are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise in trip-specific booking
information.
No refunds or partial refunds are given for missed activities, early departures, late arrivals, injuries,
personal reasons, poor surf conditions, or weather-related changes.
Jiwa Surf reserves the right to adjust or cancel trips for safety or operational reasons. Where
appropriate, a reschedule or credit may be offered.
Additional terms may apply and will be communicated separately for each trip.
5. Surfboard Rental
Rental Price
IDR 100,000 per board, per session (includes leash and fins).
Optional Damage Insurance
IDR 50,000 per session.
Insurance is optional and must be confirmed before the session starts.
Insurance cannot be added once the session has begun.
Insurance Covers
Dings and any kind of damage to equipment, including broken leashes.
Snapped or unrepairable board damage.
Without Insurance
If a board snaps, the guest must pay the full value of the board, based on its condition before use.
All dings and repair costs must be paid by the guest.
Typical repair costs range between IDR 200,000 and 1,000,000 depending on the damage.
Responsibility
Guests are responsible for the surfboard and equipment during the rental period.
Any damage must be reported to our team immediately.
6. Health, Safety & Liability
Surfing is an ocean sport and involves inherent risks.
Participation is entirely at your own risk.
You confirm that you are physically fit to surf and agree to follow all safety instructions given by
our coaches.
Jiwa Surf, its owners, staff, and coaches are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal
belongings before, during, or after sessions.
7. Photo & Video Usage
Photos and videos may be taken during lessons, trips, and surf activities for coaching,
documentation, and promotional purposes, including website and social media.
By participating in a Jiwa Surf session, you grant permission for the use of photo and video material
in which you may appear, without compensation.
If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform our team before the session starts.
If a takedown request is made after content has been published, we will make reasonable efforts to
remove the content from our owned platforms where possible.
We cannot guarantee the removal of content that has already been shared, reposted, or saved by
third parties.
For children and minors, consent is assumed from the parent or legal guardian making the booking
unless stated otherwise in writing.
8. Conduct
Respectful behavior toward coaches, staff, and other guests is required at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session without refund in cases of unsafe,
disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.
9. Agreement
By confirming a booking, making a payment, or participating in any Jiwa Surf activity, you confirm
that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
