    1. When is Jiwa Surf open each year?

      Jiwa Surf operates year-round and is open every day. Sessions run daily unless ocean or weather conditions are unsafe or unsurfable.

    2. What payment methods do you accept?

      We accept cash, bank transfer, and Wise.
      At the moment, we do not accept card payments. Our team will share the payment details once your booking is confirmed.

    3. What ages are your programs designed for?

      Jiwa Surf offers programs for both children and adults. We welcome young surfers as well as complete beginners and experienced surfers. Sessions are always adapted to the surfer’s age, ability, and confidence level, with safety as our top priority.

    4. What language is the training held in?

      Our coaching is conducted in English, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions for all levels.

    5. What time do surf sessions usually take place?

      Surf sessions are scheduled the day before to follow the latest surf forecast.
      The exact time and surf spot depend on swell, tide, wind direction, and the skill level of each surfer or group. Once the schedule is confirmed, our team will share all details with you.

    6. Where should we book our accommodation?

      We are coaching all around the Bukit and airports reef and during wet season we will be operating on the east coast (like Nusa Dua). For accommodation we recommend Ungasan area as it is the most central, however anywhere around south Bukit should be fine. Please note that surf spots are spread out and transportation will be needed. We offer transport additionally.

    1. Is surfing in Bali safe for beginners?

      Yes. Bali has many beginner-friendly beaches and gentle waves that are perfect for learning. With the right surf spot, proper equipment, and experienced coaches guiding you in the water, beginners can learn safely and confidently.

    2. What level of surfer are your lessons suitable for?

      We have experience in coaching surfers of all level, from complete beginner, intermediate surfers to advanced. We would be happy to coach you.

    3. What should I wear for my surf lesson?

      We recommend wearing swimwear that feels secure and comfortable in the water. Rash guards are available if needed.

    4. Will coaching still help if I’ve been surfing for years?

      Absolutely. Coaching can help improve technique, positioning, wave selection, and confidence in different conditions. There is always room to improve and fix mistakes.

    5. What should I wear for my surf lesson?

      Wear comfortable swimwear. We recommend a rash guard or surf leggings for sun protection.
